All About JEE NEET Controversy

The aspiring students of JEE NEET after requesting the government have appealed the Supreme Court, which said it would not meddle in the test plan. The National Testing Agency (NTA), who conducts these exams, have declined to postpone the exams as they say it would influence the following year's academic calendar

Students On Hunger Strike:

The appeal for delaying different assessments, including NEET 2020 and JEE Main, became stronger on Sunday,22 August with more than 4,000 students had a day-long hunger strike to on account of rising COVID-19 cases. Congress Leader Rahul Gandhi said the legislature must tune in to the 'mann ki baat' of students" and his party demanded that the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, NEET 2020 and the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE Main Exam be postponed. 

As indicated by the All India Students Association (AISA), more than 4,200 students observed the day-long hunger strike at their respective home requesting that CBSE compartment tests of Classes 10 and 12 be dropped and entrance tests like, the UGC-NET, CLAT, NEET and JEE be delayed.
